Hello, 2012!

It comes as no surprise that I completely slept through the changing of 2011 to 2012. Although instead of getting to bed around 10:30p or 11p, I was asleep by about 9p. The third trimester (32 weeks tomorrow!) has exhausted me as much as the first and there are no signs of relief until the baby comes.

Christmas at both parents houses went well although the holidays will be a lot more fun with a baby. From my parents, our big gift was a new fireplace surround/mantle that my dad made us. From his parents, we received some baby things (diapers, a bib, a toy, etc), some small things for us, and a Visa gift card.

I've warned Stephen that these next few weeks are going to be busy- next weekend we have a 4 hr new parent class at the hospital, the following is the baby shower my mom is throwing and soon we will find that January has ended and the baby is on it's way.
