Big Boy

This week Thomas turned two months old and thus had his next visit with the pediatrician. We knew he had probably gained quite a bit of weight since he had been eating so much (and it just increased to 4 ounces at nearly every feeding) but we never thought he would already be at 9 pounds 5 ounces!!! That's up from 6 pounds the month before! The night of his doctors visit is when we started a sleep routine. At 8pm, we fed him, changed his diaper, put him in jammies, read him Green Eggs and Ham , then put him in his bassinet. He protested briefly but fell asleep and didn't wake to feed until 130am and then 7am! I knew it was probably a fluke but was overjoyed to have gotten 9 hrs of sleep!
The next night he went back to waking every 3 or so hrs between feelings but then las night he went a 4 hr stretch. So I think we are getting there. Unfortunately, when we go to Paris, his schedule will get screwed up again.
