40 Days Left

As the days fly by towards the wedding, Stephen and I have been frantically working on the house to get it into tip top shape for wedding guests next month. It's been amazing to see the transformation of the house- the addition of the deck, the renovated living room and dining room floors, the landscaping in the front yard in addition to all the other things we have done. But, no surprise, there is still much more to do before August 18th:
1. Caulk molding in dining room
2. Paint trim and molding in living/dining room
3. Paint dining room
4. Install new bathroom light/fan (with help from dad)
5. Install lattice to deck
6. Install pavers around deck
7. Finish scrubbing siding on front porch
8. Sand and paint master bath molding strip
9. Clean up basement
10. Small detail projects- there are about a million of these

I am confident that all of these can be accomplished in addition to a nice overnight trip up to
Chicago to see a Cubs game in a few weeks but we are certainly going to be busy. Which will make the days fly even faster... which is a good thing. Because I would like nothing more for it to be August 19th.
