Day 2

James had a really successful day today. He started by having his oxygen tube downgraded and is ending with having his feeding tube fed thru his nose instead of his mouth so that he can start breast feeding.

He tried breast feeding at his 9pm feed and was able to finally suck a few times but then was done but we just worked on it again for his midnight feed and he did much better. Unfortunately, no one from lactation is here to help so I don't think we were doing it right. On the positive side, we saw that he was able to get at least a few mL. 

Thomas and Stephen came by to visit again and we tried introducing Thomas to his baby brother. He was only interested for a moment. 

Stephen's parents came down from Logansport to watch Thomas while Stephen visited James and ran errands. Unfortunately, it all got thrown off when Jayne accidentally hit another car while trying to reach for her cell phone. Thomas was in the car but seems to be doing great. Alright. Going to go pass out.
